It's the morning after the big 60th Birthday celebration and I just want to let you know that my mum absolutely loved her cake........
She was wrapped and it was a talking point for everyone.............
As soon as a new guest entered the room, they were taken immediately by mum over to the birthday cake, where they ohhhhhhhed and arrrrrrrrrred such a fabulous creation.......

Hi Rachael, Thank you so much for the Thomas Tank Engine Cake you did on Wednesday for my sons 3rd Birthday. As suggested we put the cake overnight in an air-conditioned room and my son was so excited that his "birthday was in the room" he hardly slept a wink as he had to keep checking on it. Rachael, I just want to say thank you for a beautiful birthday cake and cup cakes. Everyone (all 100 of them!) loved the cakes. The kids were so excited when they saw the cup cakes that they couldn’t even wait for the birthday song to finish before grabbing one! They literally disappeared in less than a minute - all forty of them. In hindsight, I should have had more of them - lots of the mums and dads would have like one too. Hi Rachael Just wanted to let you know and send a picture in case you didn’t get one – the cake was a HUGE success. Freshy was totally blown away, and I had to help him cut it as he felt strange cutting up his own car! It would have to be the most photographed cake I have ever seen. There were over 40 guests and most had cameras or mobile phone cameras and they were all taking photos from all angles. Dear Rachael,
Well the wedding is over and i'm really glad too as it was all way too stressful! but the highlight was the most scrumptious fresh gorgeous cake i've ever had - and you have no idea how many comments i had about it - Pee Wee's chef and the staff at PeeWee's raved about it also and asked if they could keep the flyer you had on one of the boxes. They were extremely impressed with the quality of the cake - they have tried a few with all the weddings they have had and they said it's the nicest they'd ever tried. The royal icing was yummy and exactly what i wanted with its meringey texture and the butter cream inside was deluxe. The gold balls looked lovely and the flowers really set it off too. You did so well. We have a bit left - the two top layers in fact - so it will be nice to have some left over to try again.will divide it up a bit amongst some family. My sister said its the nicest cake she's ever had and she's quite fussy. She said it's worth putting on weight for! I reckon too.So thanks again Rachael.
