FROM RACHAEL’S DESIGNACAKE TO BAKERY VILLAGESomewhere along the way, the creativity that began with cakes grew into something completely new.
Inspired by my granddaughter Emaliyah, I began imagining a little world that brought together so many pieces of my life: family, baking, creativity and the lessons we pass from one generation to the next. That little world became Ms Mali and Bakery Village. Today, Ms Mali is growing into an A–Z collection of children’s storybooks, with meaningful stories designed to help little ones explore confidence, big feelings, kindness, friendship and growing into themselves. The cakes came first. Then came the stories. And somehow, they were always connected. |

"It's all about the cake!"
The cake in my eyes is the highlight of the night.
...The circle of life celebrated with cake...
My work brings joy into people’s lives and puts smiles on their faces.
I’m truly blessed to turn people’s dream cakes into reality,
and even more blessed that they trust me to create them.”
Love Rachael Burgess & Family
